Phra Raja Wang Derm was the naval middle school of Thailand. Prior to this, it was the authoritative hall of residence of His Majesty King Taksin the Great in the 18th time period. It is sited on the bank of Chao Phraya River.

His Majesty King Rama I became the king after King Taksin and he shifted his property to Bangkok, wherever he shape a new mansion house. The Palace of King Taksin was called the Phra Raja Wang Derm as well better-known as the artistic castle. The residence had its rush due to its plan of action situation and some noteworthy menage members of the monarch ever stayed location. When H.M. King Rama V became the king, he gave Phra Raja Wang Derm to the Royal Thai Navy in February 23,1900. The service born-again the residence into a service gymnasium.
